I had to fight a little for this one tonight. With chain link separating me from my subject I started looking for “The hole”. You pick up a thing or two doing this kind of work, and almost without fail, there will be the odd hole somewhere in every chain link fence. This comes in particularly handy because there is no way to get the tripod that close to the fence. Using the hole as leverage for the camera I was able to hand hold for 1/13 sec @ f/3.5. As I really wanted to shoot this at a lower ISO, with an exposure time of somewhere around 5 seconds, this wasn’t optimum, but you make due with what you’re given, and I did get my shot. Not perfect, but pretty close to what I wanted.
