I don’t know why, but I had a good feeling when I left the house tonight that I would find something. Initially spying an extremely narrow street, I swung around to find a vantage point, and then decided it was too unsafe to shoot. Photographing late at night in places like South Central LA, there are times when things feel a little too sketchy, and occasionally I’ll choose another night to return and get a particular shot. A few streets over I found some interesting fencing and pulled over to see what I could get. The second I got out of the car I spotted this tiny flag occasionally catching the wind. A few shots in and a strong gust caught it just right. I adore little finds, and little moments like this one.
