I’m so tired tonight that I’ve started seeing things in the shadows. Though somewhat problematic while driving, it was suggested by someone that a slight dementia might add to the nights photograph.

My first few attempts at something challenging didn’t bring me the rush I was looking for. I was creating some nice photos, but they were just that, a little too nice. Pushing for more, I started exploring some of the massive alleys just East of the LA River and Downtown LA. With little to no street lighting, and a slow bitter rain coming down this is what I found. I can’t explain it, but this photo spooks me a little. There’s a beauty about it, but it’s also unsettling. Hmmm. Kind of like me tonight.
