A gorgeous misty morning greeted me this morning. Working in Malibu today, I knew that the low hills would take on the look of traditional Japanese landscapes. Due to time constraints I wasn’t able to explore like I wanted, and hoped there would be time later in the day for some personal work. Just enough of the mist remained when I was finally able to photograph one of my co-workers, Elizabeth, a young woman I had met a few months before. With the mist, and overgrown hillside as a backdrop, I wanted to convey the climatic feeling of the day. Awash in filtered light, standing outside was to be held, kissed by earthen clouds just visiting.
